Greater Sudbury Heritage

Preserving Sudbury’s rich and diverse history can be a tricky task. Stories and pictures are scattered, stored in attic boxes and scrapbooks, shared only when a passing interest arises. The Greater Sudbury Heritage aims to preserve buildings and architecture, and create an online place where people can upload pictures and information about past events.

When we started the project, we thought about why buildings are important to us, beyond simply providing protection from the elements. They’re our homes, they’re our schools, they’re where we get married and where we work. There’s a saying about “…if these wall could speak.” that we felt made a connection between concrete and emotion and this is where our concept springs from.

The simple logo is a section of a wall or detail from a building. Photographs we’ve taken from the Sudbury area of a historically significant place.

Alzheimer Society’s Christmas Dinner

Every now and again we get to help out, drawn by events that help to bring families and the community together. The food doesn’t hurt either. The Alzheimer Society’s Christmas Dinner is a chance to celebrate the holidays with friends and family and we were honoured to be invited along to catch a few shots.
